Jeff Barry - Retired MLB Pro

 

    

Jeff was born and raised in Medford, Oregon.  He graduated from South Medford High School in 1987.  Jeff went to San Diego State University where he played baseball for 3 years.  Jeff was 1st team all WAC his 3 years there.  He was drafted in the 4th round of the Major League Baseball Draft in 1990 by the Montreal Expos.

Jeff went on to play 13 years of pro baseball.  He had time in the big leagues for 4 of those years.  In 1995 he was first called up to the big leagues with the New York Mets.  He then made it back to the majors in 1998-1999 with the Colorado Rockies and spent 2000 in Japan’s big leagues.  Jeff retired in 2002 after being released by the Florida Marlins.
